Katherine Kovacic is a former veterinarian who decided she preferred training and just having fun with dogs to taking their temperatures. She returned to study to earn an MA which was followed by a PhD in Art History.
Katherine’s first novel, The Portrait of Molly Dean (Echo Publishing, 2018) was inspired by the true story of a sensational murder in 1930s Melbourne. It is set partly in the bohemian art world of that era and partly in 1990s Melbourne.
Her second novel is entitled Painting in the Shadows: an Alex Clayton Art Mystery (Echo Publishing, 2019).
Katherine’s third novel is now available (Echo Publishing, March 2020) at all good bookshops. It is entitled The Shifting Landscape, and is set mainly in the western district of Victoria and again features Alex Clayton and her art conservator friend John Porter.
Katherine Kovacic is no longer represented by Calidris but she can be contacted via the Calidris contact form.
